Hiya Doug; Sorry that this is my first message,but I can't believe you've been gone over two weeks already. Besides, I can barely type. Suzie said she'd sent a really boring e-mail the other day so I thought I'd try to improve on that. I was searching the far reaches of my brain for some inspirational words, perhaps courtesy of one of my favorite Rock 'n' Roll gods, or from Hunter Thompson, or even from the Kama Sutra. Alas,only one thought comes to mind and I hope you'll use it as your climbing mantra for at least one day. And this is it,"IF YOU'VE GOT FUNK, YOU'VE COT STYLE". It may not be much,but Funkadelic said it so it must be true.Besides, its better than counting steps.

The first snows have appeared in the high(HA!) country. Not much, but we've gotten snowed on up Peru Creek the last couple days. The dogs, by the way, are terrified of the back of your truck, especially Chester, of course, but I WILL WIN any wrestling match that needs to be won. Thats about it from here, Ill try to do better about writing in the next few weeks. So long, and take a few good breaths for me. bye
