Las Vegas 2007
Poker in Las Vegas with Steve and Bob was a good time.  I won my first Texas Hold'm Tournament.  I didn't make any friends at the final table but that is life in the Poker World.  What a blast.

Pensacola, FL
As you can see from this picture a good time was being had by all.  I have to admit that the bartender at Gratzie's was right on the mark with this picture.  The site has been update with pictures and other items from the trip.  As you can see from the photo I had a little extra sun that day or the day before.  We had a great dinner with John and Lynne and a great vacation in Florida.  Hopefully we will get invited again!

Side Bar: Neither one of us brought a camera on this trip, but we did catch fish!!!

Well, it happened again.  Hugh Vallely and I went fishing at Pearl Lake and ripped some lip.  But, we forgot to bring a camera so you will just have to believe that it really happened.  Saturday the weather was gorgeous and then it rained most of the night and on and off on Sunday, but that didn't' stop Hugh from landing a few more.  We spent the night camping and Hugh had to suffer through my cooking, but he wanted me to note that he cooks a perfect steak on the open fire, Good Job Hugh!

St. Patty's Day Bowling

It's the way you look when you are on a bowling team with a gal whose name is Eileen Fitzpatrick.  The rest of us are only slightly Irish.  From left to right, Tom Gleason, Dennis Johnson, Eileen, Me, and Harold Wilson.  I can't remember if we bowled very well or not and it took extra shampoo to get rid of the green hair, thanks to Eileen.

Give me your blood!

My dear friend and nurse Noreen with the syringe of plenty.  Every month she flushes my port and then once every 3 months she draws a unit of blood (you know, a pint, 1000 cc's etc.).  It's really not a painful as it looks, but the shot of rooster booster is another story and another photo clip.  She is single and an avid telemark skier and fly fisher person so she will entertain the right offer.  The only catch is you have to be screened by me and Kathy before we tell her about you!!!

Pearl Lake, CO

Well,  this is a sample of something I really like to do but just doesn't seem like there is time.  I was at Pearl Lake in this picture taken in 2000, I think.  That is a big Cutthroat trout native to Colorado and was fishing from my one-man pontoon boat early in the spring.  Hugh Vallely just informed me today 3/24/05 that he was on this trip to Pearl Lake.  I think he might have taken the picture.  We definitely have to do that again and soon.  Ice off will be in May sometime this year 2005, call me if your interested!

Ullr Fest 2005

Bob and I with the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales.  The really are as big as you could imagine.  It was a really a fun evening in the tent, climate controlled for the horses.  They had all kinds of hors d'ouevous and of course FREE Budweiser!  My friend Andy Clapp took the picture for me (he cut the horse's head off), it was one of the first from Kathy's new digital camera.  I still believe in film, but for websites this is the way to go.

Done Deal

Kathy and I are involved in with St. Mary's and we do marriage encounter.  This is a wedding picture of Todd and Kristy Franzen our second couple.  I will get other pictures to add of our first couple.  We had a lot of fun since I have know Todd's mom for many years.  Todd works two doors down from me in the same complex where Summit Printing is located.  He and his brother Chris have a business called Dynamic Realty Content.

Denver to Summit

When my best friend hits Summit County it's going to be a great time.  Steve Mancinelli during a recent visit to the Koch Klan's home.  He brought his lovely wife Jess with him, but I don't have a good picture.  If he reads this he might send one to me!  It was a great evening started with excellent cigars and then to dinner at the Steak and Rib.  We gave Bob grief he was working that night.  Then home to tell stories of yester year and tomorrow.  We look forward to them visiting again.  Yes, that is an invitation on this site.

$ Manager from Ft. Collins $

What a great evening discussing the world of higher finance.  My fellow Eagle Scout and very good friend Mike Stradt.  He's a money manager from FT. Collins, CO and was up teaching class at CMC this week (CMC=Colorado Mountain College and this week is 3/2/05-3/3/05).  You can tell that Tom wanted to hear what wisdom Mike could give him, but Derby was thinking "when are these 2 going to shut up?".  Bob hopes that he will get invited to dinner sometime when he gets to CSU in your neighborhood.  We will fish this year and add some pictures.

A Visit to the Mark and Janice's

Well it was another Great dinner at Mark and Janice's place.  We usually swap invites, but I think we owe them a couple of dinners.  their boys Matt and Grant are both in the scouting program and have high aspirations to make it to the top.  Mark is the Pinewood Derby track master for the Cub Pack.  Janice holds the house together and works for Vail Resorts.   Grant is a real character he only likes hot dogs for dinner and Matt he is like Mikey he'll eat anything.  We know Janice has her hands full.
