FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tom Passes Real Estate Exam6/10/2005 -- I'm official now, my license is in full force. Send me your contacts that need a good realtor. I have a desk at Tom Langseth and Associates. The address is 111 Lincoln Ave. in Breckenridge. Right next door to the Briar Rose. Come by and see me!!! 3/31/2005 -- Talk about some stress relief. Took the Colorado Real Estate exam today and it was brutal. There are 2 sections, a general section and a state of Colorado specific tests. The general test was 85 questions and didn't seem very difficult, then I did the Colorado section. It has 75 questions and I knew it was going to be a challenge when I couldn't answer the second question. You get 2 hours for each test and you can't carry over your time, it basically took me the whole 4 hours, but I PASSED and that is what counts. Then today I find out that I still 40 hours of course work to do before I can get my license. Back to the books. Watch for more on this continuing saga. 4/6/2005 -- The continuing saga of getting a license. Had to get fingerprinted and buy E and O insurance. E and O = Errors and Omissions. Just about finished with my additional 40 hours of classes also. Watch for updates.
Fishing the Arkansas4/30/2005 -- Fished the Caddis hatch on the Arkansas, Saturday and the weather was pretty nice there, while it snowed in Breckenridge all day. Fishing was on and off, but a black foam body #16 Caddis was the preferred weapon. Couldn't convince Drew to fish with me, but he enjoyed staying home and cleaning his room, personally I think fishing was the way to go.
Pictures for Boys' LifeBrian Payne3/11/2005 -- It's time for another photo shoot with Boys' Life magazine. Brain has been instrumental in having Troop 187 scouts featured in the magazine. We are also featured in several merit badge books including: Dog Care, Fly Fishing, Electronics, Reptiles, and the list will grow. We also have several pages in the new Field Book. Watch for some photos here:
Old Friend Comes to TownAndy Tornatzky2/28/2005 -- Josh was at Wal-Mart and the phone rings and it is my long lost friend Andy Tornatzky. The call was to go to lunch so I said yeah, better than the quarter pounder with extra pickles that was on its way (and probably cold). We had lunch at Fatty's Pizzeria and discussed business, the kids and when we were going to go fishing again. He and I go back about 10 plus years, he was one of my first and best copier salesman. He's back at that again. We also decided that we should spend more time together, but it will be a wait and see. It's a small world, I hadn't seen Andy in about 5 years and then out of the blue he calls, what a great surprise, you made my day. Andy's daughter Sarah is quite the snowboarder. Andy has a site set up for her at saraht.net with some of her pictures. This doing website for family history is kind of fun. 3/6/2005 -- Andy and Sarah stop by for some time
this evening to chat. Last time I saw Sarah
